Exotic Aquaculture Ephyrae Holding Aquarium (8L/16L/25L)

The EA Ephyrae Holding Tanks are designed to keep a variety of marine animal larver with extremely fragile bodies and a limited swimming capability. The tank has an airline tube connection allowing air uplift to generate a gentle but even flow throughout the whole tank. Unlike the common air-driven ephyrae tanks, EA ephyrae holding tanks have a mesh screen and drain tube, allowing you to connect the tanks to a larger system. This reduces the need for frequent water changes compared to traditional air-driven ephyrae tanks. This also ensures that ephyrae have more stable water conditions for their growth, and reduces the risk of damage incurred during the water changes. Newly born ephyrae (>2mm) can be moved straight into the tank, with water recirculation.

There are three sizes available for EA Ephyrae holding tanks. Each tank comes with two swappable mesh box with 100 and 400 microns.  The mesh screen box is detachable for easy cleaning. A drain hose can be connected to the hose connector, which holds the mesh screen box. We suggest the inlet water to be 2-3 cycles per day, which you can supply from your system using 4-5mm plastic/rubber tubes with an adjusting valve. The inlet water is for continuous water change, and not for the water flow. The water flow will be created by the air bubbles supplied from the side of the aquarium.
