Design Process

With over 10 years experience in Jellyfish Aquarium Design, we know all the little tips and tricks to get the most out of your tank. We have worked with a wide range of Public Aquariums and Research Institutes such as; Rhipleys Aquariums in Canada, SeaLife Busan and The Sentosa Aquarium in Singapore.

We start with an idea from you, this can be as detailed or as vague as you like. We then turn this idea into 3d models with accompanying renders and drawings for you to review and for us to eventually manufacture.

Detailed Renders

After the design process is done, we create detailed and high quality render of the design to allow you to get a real feel for how the final product will look before its even in production. Our designers and renderers use Raytracing technology which, aside from creating very pretty renders, simulates individuals photons of of light hitting and object how it bounces around the scene. This allows us to create extremely photo-realistic renders of your personalized design.

Production

after the sytems are designed, the renders are rendered and the details ironed out, We can then move on to production. We work closely with a small number of trusted factories that have time and time again proven their skill and quality when it comes to working with Acrylic and Aluminium. During the production stage we are in constant communication with the factory workers and even visit the factory several times to make sure the final product is up to the high standard our clients expect.

Once leaving the factory, they make the short trip to our offices for inspection and final testing where we fill up the system with water and run it as normal to make sure the tank(s) are leak-proof and all the components are functioning correctly. We also use this time to learn the intricacies of any off-the-shelf components we might use (pumps, lights, etc) so that we are experts on them and can help you at any point.
